Courses

The ICBC educational program comprises of the following courses which in addition to the awarding of the Certified Banker title leads to the acquisition of the Bank Financial Management Certificate of the ABA.

Exceptions:

Exemption from attending courses is not permitted, except for individuals who hold an ABA professional certificate or an equivalent professional qualification (in which case, they are exempt from the first seven courses). The course "Ethical Issues for Bankers" may be granted as an exemption, provided that the candidate has previously completed it as part of the ABA professional certificate program.

Notes:

• To attend the course Managing Funding, Liquidity and Capital the successful completion of the course Analyzing Bank Performance is required.
• To attend the course Managing the Bank's Investment Portfolio the successful completion of the course Managing Interest Rate Risk is required.
